Recycling old betteries, mobile phones and ink cartridges

The Coiste Glas decided that it would be good to encourage all the classes to bring in old batteries, mobile phones and ink cartridges to be recycled. In doing this, the amount of rubbish going to landfill would be reduced. A competition was organised and when all the counting was done, Ms. Cusack's class were the winners! They brought in more than 150 old batteries for recycling!! Well done to all the classes who took part. We collected 63 old mobile phones, and Trócaire receives €3 for each of these phones.
